Editorial Standards

Nutriveska Learn publishes educational articles about supplement ingredients, labels and the research behind them. This page explains how those articles are researched, checked and corrected.

Sources

We prefer primary and authoritative sources: peer-reviewed studies, official definitions from scientific bodies, and guidance from government agencies such as the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the NIH Office of Dietary Supplements. Each article lists its sources with links, so you can read them yourself.

How scientific claims are checked

  • Important scientific statements are checked against the cited source, including the study design, number of participants, dose, duration and what was actually measured.
  • If a statement is not directly supported by the source, we soften it or remove it rather than go beyond the evidence.
  • We separate what a study measured, such as a blood level, from broader health outcomes, and we say when evidence is limited or still developing.
  • We do not present supplements as treatments for any disease.

How product facts are checked

Product details mentioned in articles, such as ingredient names and amounts per serving, are checked against the printed product label and facts confirmed by our supplier. If the website and the printed label ever differ, the printed label is the source of truth.

Our products

Nutriveska sells some of the products discussed in our articles. When an article mentions a Nutriveska product, it says so and links to the product page. Articles are for general education and are not medical advice. Talk with your healthcare professional about your own situation.

Professional review

When an article has been reviewed by a qualified professional, the reviewer’s name and credentials are shown on that article. An article without a reviewer line has not had a separate professional review.

Dates

Each article shows the date it was published and the date it was last updated.

Corrections

If you think an article contains an error, email support@nutriveska.com with the article title and what you believe is wrong. We will check it against the sources and, if it needs correcting, update the article and its last-updated date.
